I am passionate about dogs and love creating new comfortable spaces for them.

When I met my wife, Hester, we each had two dogs and quickly realised we needed to create more space for our four legged friends; we particularly wanted to create an environment that would allow them to dry off after a winter's walk so that they would be clean when joining us for time in our 'human cottage' (and free from the odour of 'wet dog'!). Having a secure garden, we also wanted to be able to let our dogs run free outside without concerns about the weather changing if we were out.

With over 30 years experience in property refurbishment, I decided to create the perfect cottage for them and we quickly realised how much of an interest there was in this type of luxury pet accommodation. This is how The Dog Cottage Company came to be.

As each cottage is bespoke to your requirements we require full payment at the time of ordering. At this time we will have a detailed discussion with you about your exact specification in order that we create the perfect cottage for your dog(s) and for your property.

At the time of ordering 4 choices need to be made:

  • The size of dog cottage you require
  • Whether you'd like a cedar shingle roof or natural slate roof
  • What colour you would like your cottage to be (any colour can be selected from the Farrow & Ball range)
  • What size of PetSafe door required
  • If there are any other requirements

All of our dog cottages are delivered and installed within 8 weeks from the order date (sometimes it is possible to install much sooner depending on our current workload - please let us know if your need is urgent).

Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any queries.

Simon
